HISTORY
The South Valley Raiders (formally known as the South Valley Panthers) have participated in the Valley Youth Conference football and cheerleading programs for over twelve years. Our players reside throughout the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles. Our organization believes that discipline and hard work are the keys to success. The South Valley Raiders and the Valley Youth Conference are non-profit organizations and all of our staff members are volunteers. The Valley Youth Conference offers year-round sports programs of basketball, Pop Warner style football, track and cheerleading to boys and girls, ages six to thirteen. The Raiders football program concentrates on
the fundamentals of football. We achieve this by focusing on cardiovascular
strength and muscle development, agility and speed training. Understanding the
game of football, the importance of teamwork and having fun is our goal. We
encourage our children to focus on their education and remembering that they are
student athletes.
